The Potro Inn

The Potro Inn is currently the headquarters of the Fosforito Flamenco Center in Cordova. This 15th century building is an old inn with a two-story structure and a central patio. It has the image of a typical Cordovan patio with whitewashed walls, paved floor and vegetal ornaments on the walls. This space is declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

Exhibition at The Potro Inn

The Fosforito Flamenco Center was inaugurated by the Cordovan artist Antonio Fernández “Fosforito” in 2013. It is a museum dedicated to the Andalusian and Cordovan Flamenco. It is made up of a series of rooms distributed throughout the rooms of the Inn, with the idea that the visitor can feel flamenco as well as learn more about its history.

Being in the Potro Square, along with the Museum of Fine Arts and Julio Romero de Torres, is a highly recommended visit. The permanent exhibition has a multitude of graphic and sound archives of the recent history of flamenco.
